This week: proposals and public meetings
AutoZone near Quincy and 32nd
The October 2 planner report describes a proposed 6,816 square foot store south of Quincy Street, west of 32nd Avenue, sharing access with Arbor Financial Credit Union.
Approval, construction, and opening dates are not established by that report.
Read the planner report1052 Riley Street
The October 19 board agenda lists a rezoning item for 1052 Riley Street, Holmlund Trust. The agenda does not establish a decision or a construction plan.

A moratorium extension is listed for second reading on October 19. The October 20 Planning Commission agenda includes a data centers text amendment.
These are policy items, not confirmation of a specific facility.
Read the planning agendaThe useful question is where each item stands in the process. A proposal can change, and a meeting agenda tells us what may be considered. Neither tells us when construction will begin or how a nearby home’s value will change.

The Planning Commission agenda schedules an October 20 meeting at 7 p.m., with the 2026 Master Plan Map among its discussion items. Check the township’s meeting page for updates before attending.
The township has canceled the October 20 public hearing for the accessory building request at 575 40th Avenue. That notice concerns the individual hearing, not the entire meeting.
